Abhishek Ispat Pvt Ltd was established in the year 1997 by Mr. Atul Mehta, who started the company with theprime goal to meet the need of developing Indian economy: high quality steel at competitive prices. In the 20th century, India was starting to grow rapidly and was gearing to compete globally; however, it did not have the required infrastructure to support the same. Mr. Atul Mehta, set up the company with the vision to meet these infrastructural needs of the rapidly growing India.

During the early years, the company only acted as a stockiest and dealer of MS Plates/Coils. Gradually, the AIPL management realized the enormous potential in the steel industry as the demand for steel was rising; however its supply was limited.

To fulfil the growing steel demand of its customers in terms of volume, variety, quality and prices, AIPL started to import steel from all over the world. Since its inception in 1997, the company has accomplished a lot in terms of its structure, size, and presence. Through a successful expansion strategy, Over two decades AIPL has successfully mastered the art of selling variety of steel products including Boiler Quality Plates, High Tensile Steel Plates, Mild Steel Plates, Hot Rolled and Cold Rolled Coils and Structural Steel.
